Hugs for Laurie

Laurie was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. She did everything humanly possible to make sure she kicked its ass. She opted for 8 rounds of chemo every other week, instead of 4 every 3 weeks, because it had a meager 2% greater success rate. She got radiation 5 days a week for 5 weeks, "just to be sure". She got a double mastectomy because she "never wanted to have to deal with this again". After all this, when she thought she was finally done, she had to go through hormonal therapy over the last couple of years. One of the drugs wore her out to the point that she felt like a zombie most days; it killed her memory, and made her feel like crap. But her thinking was, "I'll give up a year and a half of the important years to gain 20 or 30 more with my girls".

In August 2014, the cancer came  back and unfortunately spread to the point of no return.  We will always have Laurie and all those that have succomb to this shitty disease and honor those that have fought the good fight.  Buy purchasing our Hugs for Laurie T-shirt, you are helping to support Cancer research with the hopes to find a cure.

In collaboration with Black Barn, llc, 9394 developed a line where 100% of the profits will be donated to Cancer research   Our goal will be to raise a minimum$9,394 over the course of the next year.  Even if we surpass our goal, 9394 will continue to donate every penny we make from this line to help fight Cancer and fine a cure for all of 2015.

Laurie has been a 9394 supporter since the inception.  I ask that we come together and collectively reach into our pockets and help bring a little joy to a really shitty situation.  I know she would do the same for anyone in her position.
